The Peter T. Haughton Fabrication & Innovation lab is on the ground floor of Watts on NCSSM Durham campus. It's circled in red on the map to the left.
The Peter T. Haughton Fabrication & Innovation lab consists of four spaces: the Digi-Lab, Makerspace, Woodshop and Metal Shop.
The Makerspace is our main space used for building projects. It contains hand tools, power tools, limited project storage cubbies and free scrap material.
The Woodshop houses our Shopbot CNC Routing machines along with the vertical bandsaw, drill press and belt sander.
The Metal Shop contains our CNC Bed Mill and Waterjet Cutter as well as a horizontal bandsaw, drill press and bench grinder.
