Welcome!
Peter T. Haughton Fabrication & Innovation Laboratory Durham
What we do
The Peter T. Haughton Fabrication & Innovation Laboratory, or "FabLab", is a teaching laboratory and Maker Space that is a resource available for the entire school to use. We have two instructional shops and a larger central workspace called the Makerspace. Our purpose is to provide resources for all residential and online students to work on academic and independent projects.
Our Mission
The mission of the PTH Fablab is to serve as a space for fabrication, scholarship, and creativity and to teach a diverse community of online and residential students to become the next generation of makers. Above all things, we are committed to safety first and value empathy over efficiency. We strive to be environmentally conscious makers by not wasting materials, recycling, and reusing when we can.
